Mike Veny is a professional drummer in New York City. He has been happy playing drums since 1989. He performs with Sean 360x & the universoul spiRitual Ankhestra alongside Ramsey Jones of the Wu-Tang Clan family. Sean 360x is a MySpace chartopping artist & has been #1 on the ReverbNation Electronica/Dance charts for over 16 weeks. He also performs with Kim Oler, an Emmy Award winning composer for ABC’s All My Children, As the World Turns,The Tracey Ullman Show, and The Guiding Light.

Concepts become reality when you search out a primary source and as a music educator this person was Mike Veny. I am a professional flutist and worked with Mike on developing a flute studio that fits my needs and functions as a structured business. I had taken a business class shortly before receiving his help, but this class, in pertaining to all types of entrepreneurial ventures, could not address the specific concerns of musicians who are in the process of transforming their thought process into that of the entrepreneur. It was 100% helpful to have someone who had gone through this metamorphosis assist me. Being encouraged to dream first and then guided through the process of making my studio a success was what I most enjoyed when being guided by Mike Veny.

Money-Making Business.
Mike has enjoyed teaching private drum lessons since 1997. His business has been remarkable and profitable.
By summer 2011, I'll be teaching solely out of my studio. I hope to have at least 40 students by then, and bump it up to 50 in the fall, when I can add a fiddle group to my offerings.
Ashely, this is a good goal. How many students do you have now?Let me know if you got my other email.
Yep
I have about 22 now, which is up from where I was over the summer (low point of 8!!!) Last year I maxed out my schedule at 33 b/c I was doing a lot of driving to all my students, so I know I can get more again.
By January 2012 I will have a my website up that specifially has a page set up about lessons. I also want to start a YouTube channel that will feature my students performances as well as my own.
A little ratnioaitly lifts the quality of the debate here. Thanks for contributing!
